Fatooi is a private family-history project. By using the site, you agree to use it respectfully, lawfully, and only for authorized family purposes.
Invitation-only access
Family areas are available only to invited and confirmed members. Keep account credentials secure, do not share invitations, and notify a family administrator if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your contributions
You are responsible for information, photographs, stories, comments, and relationship details you submit. Submit only material you have permission to share. Respect the privacy, dignity, copyrights, and personal rights of living and deceased relatives.
Family information & corrections
Family history may be incomplete, disputed, or inaccurate. Content is provided for family and informational purposes and should not be treated as an official genealogical, legal, medical, or financial record. Submit correction requests respectfully; administrators may preserve context where relatives disagree.
Privacy choices
Follow the selected visibility level: Family, Immediate Family, Shared With…, or Private. Do not copy, republish, scrape, or distribute private family content outside its authorized audience.
Prohibited use
- Impersonation, harassment, threats, or discrimination.
- Unauthorized access, scraping, security testing, malware, or disruption.
- Uploading highly sensitive financial, medical, identity, or legal documents.
- Commercial exploitation, advertising, or selling family information.
- Publishing information about minors without appropriate authorization.
- Content that violates law, privacy, copyright, or another person’s rights.
Public blog posts & events
Family blog posts and event details remain private unless public sharing is deliberately requested and approved by an authorized administrator. Approval may be withdrawn if privacy or safety concerns arise.
No professional advice or guarantee
The site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis for family and informational purposes. Fatooi does not guarantee that information is complete, current, accurate, continuously available, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing on the site is legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Account & content administration
Administrators may restrict access, correct obvious errors, remove harmful or unauthorized content, and preserve backups when reasonably necessary for security or family administration.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site and ask the family administrator to close your account.
Family album contributions and moderation
By uploading a photograph, you confirm that you have the right or appropriate family permission to share it within the selected private family tree. You remain responsible for the photograph, its description, the people you identify, and any occasion, location, date, or memory details you provide.
Picture owners may edit their descriptions and member selections and may hide or restore their own photographs. Hiding a photograph removes it from the shared album view but does not immediately delete its stored copy.
Tree Admins may review any photograph submitted to their tree and may correct descriptions or member selections, hide or restore content, or permanently delete a photograph. Moderation may occur to address privacy requests, incorrect identification, inappropriate or unlawful material, copyright concerns, safety issues, or violations of these terms. Tree Admin decisions apply only to the family tree they administer.
Do not upload sexually explicit, abusive, harassing, unlawfully obtained, infringing, or highly sensitive material. Do not download, republish, forward, scrape, or distribute private family photographs outside their authorized family audience without permission.
